MEDICRAFT, Larry Richard-70, of Canning passed away Friday, August 27, 2010 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Kingston, he was a son of the late Charles and Leona (Richardson) Medicraft. Larry was formerly employed as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed music and fishing and loved to tease his family and friends. Larry is survived by his companion, Betty Myra, Canning; daughter, Angie Medicraft (Paul Spencer), Berwick; sons, Ricky (Linda), Brickton; Jeffrey (April Grant), Annapolis Royal; Timothy (Wanda) Vidito, Truro; stepdaughter, Lori (Lawrence) Kimoff, Calgary; stepson, Kim (Valerie) Connell, Kingston, 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Hazel Jefferson; grandson, Christopher; infant sister, Verba Jeanette and sister, Dorothy Ells. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00AM, Tuesday, August 31, 2010 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448, Rev. C. David Taylor officiating.
