Larry was born in Bridgewater in 1944, and was the son of the late Daniel and Dorothy (Rhodenizer) Purcell. Early in Larrys life, he was employed by Bruce Chev Olds and then later was the proprietor of the Kingston Trading Post for seventeen years. He is survived by his former wife, Roberta (Bruce MacKay), Kingston; daughter, Lynn (Randy Corkum), Kingston; son, Lee, Ottawa; grandson, Zane; sister, Linda Schnare, Fredericton; nephew, Christopher, Saint John and many family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, May 20, 2011 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448.
