Obituary

GRIFFIN, Laura "Vivian"-88 of Berwick, formerly of Kingston, passed away, Monday, June 10, 2013 in Grand View Manor, Berwick surrounded by her family. Born in Greenwood Square she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Eva (Spinney) Griffin. Vivian was a member of Kingston Baptist Church, Myrtle Rebekah Lodge and earlier Evangeline Rebekah Lodge. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting and was known for her molasses cookies and date squares. Vivian was "Mother of none, but a second Mother to many." She is survived by several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sister, Hazel Chute and brother, Lloyd Griffin. By Vivian's request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 2:00PM Friday, June 14, 2013 in Kingston Baptist Church with Rev. Sarah Scott officiating. Reception for family and friends will follow the service. Interment will be in the North Kingston Cemetery with Rev. Leon Langille officiating. Donations in memory may be made to Multiple Sclerosis, Kingston Baptist Church or a Charity of Choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street (902) 825-3448.
