Horsnell, Laurie Victor – Age 88 of Aylesford Kings Co., It is with sad hearts and loving memories the family announces Laurie passed away peacefully Monday, April 18, 2022, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Berwick, May 23, 1933, he was a son of the late Wilfred and Isabell (Aylward) Horsnell. Laurie was raised in Dempsey Corner where he was known for his story telling abilities, strong work ethic, inventor of many gadgets, builder, his love of animals and farm life. He was a proud Liberal his entire life. He was an active commissioner on the Aylesford Fire Commission since 1984. Laurie is survived by his loving wife of 67 yrs., Joyce (Smith) Horsnell; his children, Bill (Rose) Horsnell, Marilyn Grabowski, Debby (Terry) Rousseau, Mike (Alice) Horsnell, and Sandy (Kim) Horsnell. He was a proud and loving Grampy to 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Sister-in-law, Pat Horsnell. Besides his parents, Laurie was predeceased by siblings, Mary Louise (Jim) Rippey, Eric (Dorothy) Horsnell and Clyde Horsnell and son-in-law, Doug Grabowski. A celebration of Laurie's life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday April 24 ^th at the Aylesford Fire Hall.
