HUNTLEY, Laurie Franklin - age 94, of Bridgetown, Annapolis Co., passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2016, in the Veterans Unit, Soldier's Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Medford, he was a son of the late Roy and Lillian (Sheffield) Huntley. Laurie was a veteran of the Second World War, having served overseas. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family and was predeceased by his wife the former, Elizabeth Lochrie of Paisley, Scotland; sisters, Sarah and Florence; brothers, Amos, Dennis, William "Bill" and Robert "Bob"; loving friend, Marion Wilkins. Laurie is survived by many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place with interment at a later date. The family wishes to extend their thanks to his dedicated care giver and dear friend, Linda Shearer.
