HUDSON, Lawrence Charles "Larry" - Aged 61 of Nictaux, NS passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at home. Born in Middleton, he was a son of the late Boyd and Hazel (Dorey) Hudson. Larry for many years worked in sales and estimating with North American Van Lines and prior to was employed with Farmers Dairy, Middleton. In earlier years he loved fishing, hunting and cooking. Larry enjoyed refinishing furniture, hanging out in his garage and especially loved his grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter, Lori (Darren) Boates, Middleton; his son, Scott Haynes, Nictaux; sisters, Verna (Dave) Akin, Brickton; Gini (Gary) Adams, South Farmington; Jane Hudson (Doug North), Port George; his brothers, Gordie (Pearl) Hudson, Truro; Bob (Vera) Hudson, Nictaux; his grandchildren, Daniel and Bella Boates and Kody Sloan and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Ronnie and sister Elaine in infancy. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held 7:00PM-9:00PM Thursday, May 15, 2014 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448. A graveside service will be held 11:00AM Friday, May 16, 2014 in the Nictaux Cemetery with Rev. Bill McLeod officiating.
