Thibault, Lena Marie - 85 of Greenwood. It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Lena M. Thibault in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton on Wednesday November 24, 2010. Born in Meteghan, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Olive (Deveau) Deveau. Lena worked at the Dartmouth Free Press for many years. After her retirement, she began knitting and crocheting baby clothes for a consignment store. She enjoyed doing cryptograms, playing cards, plastic canvas and visiting family and friends. She is survived by sons, Earl D. Deveau, Greenwood; Brian Thibault, Edmonton, AB; granddaughter, Tracy (Rick) Keen, Middle Sackville, NS and great grandchildren, Amy and Kyle Keen. She was predeceased by her husband, Conrad Thibault; daughter, Carol Saulnier; brothers, Gus and Richard Deveau; sisters, Frances Gray and Irene Deveau and grandson, Randy Saulnier. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00AM Monday, November 29, 2010 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448, with Rev. Deacon Don Boudreau officiating. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville, NS, at a later date. A heartfelt thank you to the medical staff of Soldiers Memorial Hospital and Valley Regional Hospital for their excellent care.
