Jeremy, Leona Mae ~ age 88 of Middleton, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2019 in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Middleton, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Sadie (Dorey) Jeremy. Leona is survived by her son, Vernon Elvin Cross, Brantford, ON; sister, Peggy Waltham, Kelowna, BC; two granddaughters, Laura Allen and Amanda Allen; and 8 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Leona was predeceased by her daughter, Sylvia Allen; sisters, Florence Annis and Marie Jeremy and brother, Joe Jeremy. In keeping with Leona's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 3, 2020 in St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery, Kingston, with Rev. Deacon Don officiating.
