Obituary

PELTON, Leonard Everett – Age 67, of Meadowvale, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018, in Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born on January 30, 1951, he was a son of the late LeRoy E. and Elsie I. (Veinot) Pelton.  Leonard enjoyed gardening, playing cards, attending bingo games and dances. He had worked as a flagman for many years working for Nightliner, Nova Scotia Power, Millers and finally for Dexters Construction. Leonard was first an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Ortona Branch No. 69, Berwick, and at present the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 98, Kingston. Surviving are his wife of 47 years the former Deborah C. Robar; daughter, Wanda (Mike Evans) Pelton, Berwick; son, LeRoy (Theresa Stedman) Pelton, Kentville; grandchildren, Angel, Jaye, Alex and Liam; sister, Phyllis Pelton; brothers, Richard (Roselyn Bannon) Pelton and Donnie (the late Donna) Pelton, all of Ontario; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Ray, Russell and Robert Pelton. There will be no visitation or service.
