CRANTON, Lesley Ann ~ age 66 of Belleisle, NS passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville surrounded by her loving family. Born in Halifax, NS she was a daughter of the late Leslie and Joan (Garrison) Westbury. Lesley worked for 17 years as a Health Care Aide at Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. She enjoyed knitting, painting and loved hummingbirds, had quite the sense of humour and her infectious laughter and the love of life was contagious. In her younger years, Lesley enjoyed fishing and her favourite place to be was on the beach on the South Shore, especially Summerville Beach. She loved her family and friends dearly, (Lainey) her kindred spirit. Her four grandchildren were her pride and joy. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Russell; sons, Nicholas (Chelsea), Spa Springs; Adam, Belleisle; Nathan (Melissa), Gimli, Manitoba; sisters, Debbie Baker (Lorraine Bridal), Greenwood; Rhonda (Stephen) Brown, Calgary; Joan (Sheldon) MacIntosh, Granville Beach; brothers, Paul (Cathy) Westbury, Hampton, New Brunswick; Steven (Janet) Westbury, Quispamsis, New Brunswick; grandchildren Owen, Benjamin, Ethan, Sunnie Rae Ann and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Cory.
In keeping with Lesley's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service at this time. Donations in Lesley's memory may be made to the IWK Health Centre or to a charity of your choice.
