Morse, Leslie “Gordon” – age 79, of Millville, NS, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in Millville. Born in Middleton, he was a son of the late Sperlen and Edythe (Spicer) Morse. Gordon worked as a Production Supervisor with Kodak Canada and Decoustics Ltd. Later, he became a school bus driver with Student 1st Transportation. He was a faithful member of Kingston Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and council member, taught Sunday School, and volunteered with the Upper Room Food Bank. He will be remembered as a dependable and caring man who was always willing to help others. A longtime aviation enthusiast, Gordon was a licensed pilot and served as Director of Flight Education at the Greenwood Military Aviation Museum. In recent years, he wrote a book on aviation history. He also enjoyed woodworking and carpentry. Above all, Gordon valued time with his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Carolyn (Pike); granddaughter, Alyseya Travers, Brampton, ON; great-grandson, William, Brampton, ON; sisters, Sandra, Alliston, ON, Marlene, Kingston, NS, and Linda, Seattle, WA; brother, Beverly (Norma) Morse, New Glasgow, NS; sisters-in-law, Marilyn (Allan) Hibbard, Calgary, AB, and Donna (Bob) Duguid, Wasaga Beach, ON; brother-in-law, Ronald (Sandy) Pike, Oshawa, ON; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Gordon was predeceased by his son, Cameron; and brothers-in-law, Steve and Ken. In keeping with Gordon’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations in Gord’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
