It is with deep sadness the family of Lila May (Robar) Fredericks, 80 of Bridgetown, announces her passing on  August 11, 2023, in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown, with her family by her side. Lila was born in Bear River East to the late Parker and Doris Robar on December 12, 1942. Her family moved to Bridgetown where later she met Warren, her future husband. They were married for 63 years. Lila worked at Mountain Lea Lodge as the Activities Director until her retirement. A career she enjoyed immensely. She was very active in her church. She had many interests, music being a major one. She loved to sing and play her piano and guitar.  She loved to quilt and gifted each of us with a quilt made with love. Her favorite baseball team was the Toronto Blue Jays and love to watch each game. She loved nature, especially the wild birds that visited the bird feeder. And the menagerie of family pets, especially Feisty and Cookie the cats. Lila is survived by her husband, Warren, Bridgetown; daughter, Lorie, Kingston; son, Warren, Wilmot; grandchildren, Jodie, Colin, Nathaniel and Daniel; brothers, Wayne (Shirley) Robar and Bill (Karen) Robar, both of Bear River East; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, sister, Elaine; nephew, Glen. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., on Wednesday, August 16, in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., toll free 1-855-825-3448. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, August 17, 2023, in Middleton Seventh-day Adventist Church, 65 Victoria Rd., with Pastor John Fournier officiating, assisted by Pastor Ryan Fraser. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Bridgetown. Memorial donations may be made to the Middleton Seventh-day Adventist Church, MLL Recreation Dept. or charity of choice.
