MORSE, Lillian Mae ~ Age 89, of East Tremont, Kings Co., passed away peacefully on Friday, April 21, 2023, at home, with her daughter, Jeannie by her side. Born on August 12, 1933, in Neils Harbour, Victoria Co., she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Mae (Burrage) Turner. Lillian was a square dancer, and along with Kenneth were members of Fundy Square group. She enjoyed knitting, walking, word puzzles and time spent camping. Lillian was a member of Torbook Baptist Church. Lillian was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are daughters , Lorraine (George) Desjardins, Gatineau, Que.; Carolyn (Pierre) Levesque, Kingston; Jeannie (Michel) Mercier, Ottawa, Ont.; Joanne (Steven) McDow, East Tremont; grandchildren, Chris, Justin, Jacqueline, Jean-Marc, Chantal, André and Nicolette; 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Kenneth G. Morse; granddaughter, Lucy Lou; brothers, Elmer, George, Thomas, Walter, Peter and Hector; sisters, Blanch Budge and Helen Carol. Visitation will take place from 1 p.m. until the funeral service at 2 p.m., Monday, April 24, both in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., toll free 1-855-825-3448.
