HAGGERTY, Linda Rose ~ Age 69, Berwick, Kings Co. We, the family would like to announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother, grandmother and sister on Saturday, June 5th, 2021, after a long time living with Alzheimer's at Grand View Manor, Berwick. Linda Rose Haggerty was born July 3, 1951, in Western Kings Memorial Hospital in Berwick, Nova Scotia. Linda was employed at Sawler Gardens Ltd., Somerset for many years. Linda enjoyed her country music, family gatherings, playing crib and going to flea markets. She is survived by her children, Steven (Jennifer), Karen (Steve); grandchildren, Byron (Alisha), Austin and Aiden, Alex (Kaitlin), Ashley Dawn (Dylan) Manning; great grandchildren, Mia, Zoey, Jacob, Lillee Mae, and Linden; siblings, Sterling Pelton (Sharon), Sharon Bent (Russell), Shirley Ritchie (Michael); several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Kenneth and Jean (Veinot) Pelton; common-law husband, Burt Fredericks; brothers, Donald and Albert Pelton; sister, Louise Parent; nephew, Bruce Pelton. Due to public gathering restrictions, a private graveside service will take place in Berwick Cemetery with Rev. Deborah Lonergan-Freake officiating.
