MURPHY, Linda Annie ~ age 71 of Forest Glade, NS passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020 in Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born in Upper Gullies, Newfoundland she was a daughter of the late Maxwell and Minnie (Morgan) Dawe. Linda was as a physiotherapist, having trained at Memorial University in St. John's and employed with Victoria General Hospital, Nova Scotia Rehabilitation Centre and retiring from Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. She was very creative and could make almost anything with her hands, enjoying crocheting, woodworking, ceramics, making clothes and making and selling jewelry which is owned and worn by people from Newfoundland to British Columbia. Linda was a very caring and generous person and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Michael, Forest Glade; son, Matthew (Krista Ogletree), Greenwood area; sisters, Grace (Bill) Crosbie of Paradise, Newfoundland and Marcella (John) Paynter of Conception Bay South, Newfoundland. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother James. In keeping with Linda's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place at a later date in Newfoundland.
