PARKER, Linda Fay – South Farmington passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, NS. Linda was born in Miami, Manitoba in 1945. She was the only daughter of the late Raymond and Isobel (McKerlie) Angers. Linda graduated from St. Boniface Hospital as a Registered Nurse in 1967. Following that she attended the University of Manitoba and obtained a diploma in Public Health. In 1968 she moved to Nova Scotia where she was employed as a Public Health Nurse for the N.S. Department of Health for over 28 years until her retirement in 1997. She is survived by her husband Donald, step sons; Jerry(Nancy), Nictaux West, Stephen "Sam" (Sue Lowe), Newport, step daughter Dawn (Peggy McClary), Port George, brother, Pat (Marie) Angers, Neepawa, Manitoba. She was predeceased by brother, Gary and step son Terry. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main St., 902-825-3448. In accordance with Linda's request there will be no visitation or memorial service. A private interment will take place in Pine Grove Cemetery.
