Patterson, Linda Lavonne - 73, of Hantsport passed away Thursday March 24, 2022, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of the late James "Jim" and Doris (Saulnier) Coburn. Linda was an outdoors person. She particularly enjoyed fishing, camping and bonfires. Raining during a camping trip wouldn't dampen her spirit as she could be seen putting up tarps to keep the socializing going. She loved to cook; cabbage rolls were a favorite. Linda enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, going on road trips, gardening. She had a keen interest in music having learned how to play the banjo and mandolin. She loved life and lived it on her terms. She is survived by her partner of the past three years, Bill Scholes, Kingston; daughter Angela (Robert Plehn) Caldwell, Kingston; son, Timothy "Tim" (Kelly Anne) Lecouter, Hantsport; brother, Gerald (Sandy) Coburn, Hantsport; three grandchildren, Jessica, Cassandra, Jake; three great grandchildren, Brielle, Ty and Paisley. She was predeceased by a son, Joseph Victor Lecouter Jr., brothers, George Richard Coburn and Donald Arthur Coburn. As per Linda's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in the Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport. Donations in Linda's memory may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society or to the Soldiers Memorial Hospital Foundation, Middleton.
