CAREY, Liselotte Rosa "Lee" ~ age 84 of Kingston, NS passed away Friday, June 26, 2020 at home. Born in Zweibrucken, Germany she was a daughter of the late Imanuel Heinrich "Imm" and Ida Anna (Marquardt) Funk.  Lee was very proud to be a Canadian Citizen. She was an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 98, Kingston, where she loved to dance and be part of their Legion family. Lee loved gardening and cooking and everyone who walked through her door never left hungry. Lee is survived by her daughters, Kim, Aylesford; Debra-Lee (Ronnie), Meadowvale; sons, Michael (Doris), Regina, SK; Robert (Bonnie), Edmonton, AB; grandchildren, David, Robbie, Theresa (Jeff), Dale (Mel), Justin and Chad; great grandchildren, Anthony, Serra, Elijah, Seth and Anna. Besides her parents, Lee was predeceased by her husband Robert Donald "Bob" and brothers, Herman, Heiner and Horst. In keeping with Lee's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Lee's life will be held at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 98 Poppy Fund.
