CROUSE, Lorna Doris - age 81 of Torbrook Mines, NS passed away peacefully at home Saturday, November 8, 2014. Born in Rehoboth, Massachusetts she was the daughter of the late Lester and Lennie (Hatt) Allen. Lorna was a member of the Torbrook United Baptist Church and enjoyed knitting, sewing and making quilts for her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters Pauline (Paul) Davis and Marlene (Mark) Veinotte both of Nictaux; her sons Jamie (Irene) Crouse, Pembroke, ON; David Crouse (Allan Clark), Lawrencetown, Annapolis Co.; Norman Crouse (Mary McNeil) and Ainsley Crouse both of Torbrook Mines; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Lorna was predeceased by her husband Aubrey, son Gordon, brother Raymond and daughters-in-law Betty Mapplebeck and Marilyn Robar. At Lorna's request, a graveside service will be held 2:00PM Thursday, November 13, 2014 in the Torbrook Mines United Cemetery with Rev. Bill McLeod officiating.
