Obituary

BRINTON, Lorne Ralph - 61, of Wilmot, NS passed away peacefully Thursday, December 13, 2012 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville surrounded by his family. Born in Middleton, he was a son of the late Clarence and Vera (Wagner) Brinton. Lorne was employed for 27 years with Roscoe Construction Limited, Cambridge and was an Associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 98, Kingston. He liked playing darts, loved woodworking, playing his guitar and enjoyed drawing. Lorne loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife, the former Wendy Johnson, Wilmot; stepdaughter, Sabrina Parker, Kentville; stepson, Travis Parker (Tianna Corkum), New Minas; sister, Barbara (Walter) Graves, Port Lorne; brothers, Edwin (Loretta) Brinton, Moncton, NB; Glenn (Pat) Brinton, Fredericton, NB; Clifford (Debbie) Brinton, Marshalltown; step grandchildren, Haley, Kaden and Kaleah and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 2:00PM Saturday, December 15, 2012 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448 with Rev. Robin McCoombs officiating. Interment will be in the Fundy View Cemetery, Port Lorne. A special thank you is extended to Dr. Maryweather, Dr. Birch and the nursing staff of the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville for their care, compassion and kindness shown to Lorne and his family during his stay.
