Obituary

Wells, Lorraine Nan – 65, of South Rawdon, passed away Monday, April 28, 2025 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Middleton, she was the daughter of the late Clayton Trask and Joyce (Vidito) (Trask) Spicer. Lorraine worked for the past 20 years with Shannex- Parkland in Bayer's Lake Park caring for their residents. A determined and talented artisan, she was a self-taught soap maker and enjoyed making candles, laundry soap, bath bombs, lip balms, as well as many wonderful soaps. In her younger years, Lorraine loved spending time with horses and often shared stories of those times. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 22 years, Norman; her daughter Shalela Trask, South Rawdon; granddaughter Ava Grace Carter; brother Dwayne "Bub" Trask, South Farmington; sister-in-law Janice MacLean (Doug Pilon), Greenwood; brother-in-law Murray (Jo) Wells, Port Hawksbury; Lorraine's best friend and caregiver who helped so much by being there every day, Becky Haldane. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Donations in memory of Lorriane may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Warmest thanks to Becky for all her daily care visits and amazing support through it all. Special thanks to all the nurses, doctors, and palliative care team members who gave extra wonderful care to Lorraine.
