DESROSIERS, Lynda Darlene - 65yrs, of Greenwood, NS passed away Sunday, October 6, 2013 in the Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Middleton, she was the daughter of the late Alton "Ted" and Verna "Tood" (Stronach) Banks. Lynda loved to socialize and enjoyed having coffee with her friends at the mall. She adapted and accepted her many challenges and complicated illnesses and embraced all her challenges with a positive attitude. Lynda devoted her life to her family and loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Michele Desrosiers Callan (Darrell), Greenwood; her son, Patrick Desrosiers, Middleton; her brothers, Glenn Banks, Kingston; Erwin Banks (Tammy), Nictaux; Kevin Banks, Kingston; Graham (Wendy) Banks, Wilmot; grandchildren, Erica Callan and Taylor Callan and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Jean-Marie Desrosiers. By Lynda's request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 2:00PM Friday, October 11, 2013 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448 with Rev. Leon Langille officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow the service. Interment will be in the North Kingston Cemetery. Donations in Lynda's memory may be made to the charity of choice.
