Obituary

SPENCER (Miller) Lynn Wanda , age 54, of Waterville, Kings Co. It is with heavy hearts that her family regrets to announce the sudden death of Lynn on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, surrounded by her family. Born in St. John's NL, Lynn was predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth "Betty" (Delahunty) and Chester Miller and sister, Sharon. She leaves to mourn her soul mate of 26 years, Robert "Yogi"; sisters, Elizabeth, Kathy (Lindsey); brothers, Ches (Mary Anne), Rick (Carol), and Ern (Angela); nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Bradley, Kyle, Andy, Kimberly, Rikki, and Brooke; great nieces and nephews, Jamie, Skylor, Bella, and Morgan. Lynn will be remembered for her outgoing personality that created many friendships throughout her life; including, childhood friend, Norine (Darren, Tyler & Taylor); special friends, Sandra & Paul and Joanne &Tim. Lynn was an active member of her community. She worked for the Village of New Minas for 15 years. Lynn also volunteered her time at the Waterville Baptist Church, Habitat for Humanity, Happy Eagles Youth Group and Waterville & District Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. Visitation will take place from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Sunday in Waterville Baptist Church, 1243 Mill St., Waterville, from where the funeral service will take place at 2 p.m., Monday, January 23. Pastor Christina Bigelow officiating, with a reception to follow at the Waterville & District Volunteer Fire Department. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Waterville Baptist Church are gratefully accepted.
