M. Grace Vidito age 93, of Nictaux Falls, NS passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born on August 18, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Minetta Mae (Sarty) Gregory of Youngs Cove. Most of Grace's adult life was spent at her home in Nictaux Falls where extended family would gather to play cards every Sunday night. Grace was the last surviving member of her immediate family and is survived by daughter-in-law, Eva Vidito (Corkum), Nictaux Falls; grandchildren, Patricia (John) Balcom, Nictaux; Edward (Lori) Vidito, Wilmot; Tammy (Greg) Boyd, Meadowvale; and Christopher (Sarah Bush) Vidito, Nictaux Falls; great grandchildren, Megan Balcom, Alissa Balcom, Leah Vidito, Wyatt Boyd, and Reese Vidito. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph M. and sons, Russell “Rusty”, Michael S. and Joseph J.; brothers, Harry, Malcolm, Otis, Murray, Henry, Upert and Ronald; sisters, Ida and Olga. In keeping with Grace's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 4:00PM Friday, July 3, 2026 in the Middleton Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Milne officiating. Interment will be in Nictaux Cemetery. The family would like to thank staff at Mountain Lea Lodge for the care that Grace received and the Middleton Funeral Home for taking care of her final wishes.
