Lawrence, M. Teresa Matilda – 92 of Wilmot, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at home. Born in St. Jean Port Joli, Quebec, she was a daughter of the late Xavier and Blanche (Morin) Gamache. Teresa was a devoted member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, Greenwood for many years. Gardening, both vegetables and plants, was her true passion, displayed by winning a gardening competition for her beautiful yard one year. Jigsaw puzzles and weekly scrabble games were wonderful pastimes. Teresa was a voracious reader, especially of history. Surviving are her daughters, Linda Alberts, Aylesford; Gail (Rick) Aldred, Melvern Square; Valerie Morris, Canberra, Australia; grandchildren, Lawrence (Nealam) Alberts, Winnipeg; Scott Alberts, Winnipeg; Jason Aldred (Amanda Sheppard) Nictaux; Christopher Aldred, Prince Albert; Tessa Aldred (Dave Watton), Melvern Square; Brandon Aldred (Jaidan Dondale), Prince Albert; great grandchildren, Nora, Olivia, Sutton, Jaxson, Dyson, Case, Brandi, Thor, Aidan (Rose Fancy), Annabelle, Greta; sisters Lucie Gamache, Helen (Ray) Quirion; brothers Roland (Jacqueline) Gamache; Andre (Rejean) Gamache; sister-in-law, Marielle Duval, all of Quebec; sister-in-law Shirley LaQuant, Dartmouth; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and in-laws, she was predeceased by her husband, John Harris; twin sister Monique and brother-in-law Jean Claude Deltorchio; brothers Levi and Hughes Gamache. In keeping with Teresa's wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Sackville at a later date.
