REEVES, Mabel Eveline ~ age 91 of South Berwick passed away, Sunday, October 6th, 2019 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in East Dalhousie, she was a daughter of the late Frederick James and Alma Lavinia (Fancy) Oickle. Mabel was a member of Christ Anglican Church, Berwick. She loved her family, knitting, playing 45's with friends and family, and chocolate! She had loved camping with her husband, Lewis and always enjoyed taking her grandchildren camping as well, especially to Graves Island. She will be sadly missed by son, Wayne (the late Janis) Reeves, Gaspereau; daughter, Brenda (Daniel) Crawford, Harbourville; sister, Ella Slauenwhite, New Germany; grandchildren, Jason and Amanda Reeves; Anthony and Amy Crawford; great-grandchildren Eric and Kristie Reeves. Besides her parents, Mabel was predeceased by her husband Lewis; sister, Mae Slauenwhite, and her brother, Maurice. A funeral service will beheld at 4:00PM, Thursday, October 10 ^th in Christ Anglican Church, 238 Commercial St., Berwick with Rev. Mel Malton officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow the service in the church hall. Burial will be in Berwick Cemetery.
