Ogil vie, Madelyn Florence (Duncanson) – Age 90 of North Kingston, Kings Co., passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 9, 2024, in Graceview Senior Residence, Victoria Vale, Annapolis County. Born in 1933, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Lily Duncanson (Payzant) of Dempsey Corner. Madelyn began working in her early years with MT&T in the office in Aylesford and later worked as an operator in Toronto. She returned to Nova Scotia and married Sherman Mason Ogilvie and worked on their Dairy Farm until her retirement. Madelyn is survived by her son, Dean Mason Ogilvie (Kerry) of North Kingston and daughter, Penny Lee Ogilvie of Wilmot; grandchildren, Jane, Bill, Lorne, and Liam Ogilvie; Seth and Annika Tibbutt; sisters, Greta, and Audrey. Besides her parents and husband, Madelyn was predeceased by sisters, Joyce and Beverly, brothers, Douglas, and Ralph in infancy. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service.
