It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Malcolm (Mac) Charles Inglis, age 71. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Trudy (Bent), sons Matthew and Ryan, daughter Sara (Cameron), 6 beautiful grandchildren, Mackenzie and Elizabeth (Inglis), Alex, Ella, Jordan, and Logan (Cameron). Sisters Shirley Inglis, Nancy (Carl) Courtney, brother Bruce (Luella) Inglis. Two aunts Margaret Whitman, Lillian Jodrey, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mac was predeceased by parents Russel (Pete) and Mary Inglis, and his brother Keith Inglis.

Mac worked most of his career at United Elastic Ltd, retiring his career as co-owner of Britex Ltd at the age of 51, where he continued to enjoy being an amazing husband, father, and grandfather. Mac liked to keep busy at the homestead in Tupperville. He enjoyed cutting trees for their winter firewood, gardening, mowing, picking apples, fishing, reading, and doing puzzles. Mac always kept track of anything to do with finances, read news papers cover to cover. He loved his family and so enjoyed the grand children when visiting.

Thank you to all the staff, paramedics who helped us go from Digby, Kentville and Middleton hospitals. Also, thanks to Debbie Rice for her excellent home care for Mac. A very special thank you to Dr Sarah Surette for assisting us in fulfilling Mac's wishes by utilizing the amazing MAID program. With her unlimited empathetic support and kindness, we were able to assist Mac to his final resting place with his final wishes granted, and his dignity intact.

A very casual Celebration of Life will be held on July 13th from 4-8pm at the Bridgetown Legion, 20 Jeffery Street. Refreshments, cold and hot beverages provided, and a cash bar will be available. Cremation taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral home 398 Main St. toll free 1-855-825-3448. Donations may be made to an Alzheimer's or Dementia Foundation of choice.
