JENNINGS, Malcolm Crosby - age 83 went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, December 15, 2014 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Mill Cove, Lunenburg County, he was a son of the late Crosby and Fannie (Harnish) Jennings. Malcolm was employed with Sears Canada for 36 years, retiring as a collection manager. He was an avid sports fisherman and along with his wife Phyllis faithfully attended the Weston Christian Fellowship Church. Malcolm is survived by his wife of 59 years the former Phyllis Fenton, Melvern Square; sister, Joan (Arthur) Shupe, Mill Cove and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by one brother, Marshall. Malcolm's family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the doctors and nursing staff at Valley Regional Hospital for the care provided to him during his stay. By request there will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held 2:00PM, Friday, December 19, 2014 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street (902) 825-3448 with Pastor Morris Mills and Pastor Gary Horton officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow the service. A private family interment will be in Church Grove Cemetery, Melvern Square. By request, family flowers only.
