COLEMAN (Bent), Marcia Helene 60, of Nictaux Falls, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2011, at home with her family by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Middleton, she was a daughter of Maxwell D. Bent, of Wilmot and the late Mable Bent (Amirault) (from Middle East Pubinco). She was a proud member of TOPS (Chapter 462 Greenwood), an avid outdoors enthusiast and adored her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Marcy, her husband Chris, and their daughter, Maddison of Hamilton, Ont.; her son, Terry, his wife Lisa and their children Kalvin, Kloee and Kaynen of Hamilton, Ont.; her sisters, Doreen and husband, George Noble of Wilmot; Karen and her husband, Brian Saltzman of Melvern Square; her brother, Greg and his wife Mary Bent of Kentville. She had a special relationship with her sisters and brother and lifelong friend, Glen Coleman, which brought her comfort through her illness. A very special thank-you to her daughter, Marcy and son-in-law, Chris for the exceptional care, compassion and love that they gave to Marcia throughout her illness and passing. Many thanks to Soldiers Memorial Hospital staff, Dr. Abdul Yafai, Dr. Michael Biddulph, Dr. Lori Burgess and the Palliative Care team. There will be a service in St. Monica's Church in Middleton on Friday, January 28 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in St. Monica's Church Hall.
