KENNEDY, Margaret Elizabeth "May" ~ Age 84, of Greenwood, Kings Co., passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born on November 16, 1940, in Flintoff, Saskatchewan, she was a daughter of the Howard and Isabelle (West) Taylor.
May had worked at Canadian Tire for 29 years in Trenton, Ontario, and later in Greenwood, with the last 10 years she was a senior manager. She had been a cub leader and was an avid gardener. May enjoyed time spent sewing and doing puzzles. She was a gifted person who enjoyed ceramics. May was an adherent of Aylesford United Church and was a member of Red Hatters and White Pearls.
Surviving are her husband of 63 years, David Kennedy; sons, David (Wanda) Kennedy, Greenwood, N.S., Steven (France) Kennedy, Moncton, N.B.; grandson, David Matthew Kennedy, Greenwood; brother, Robert "Bob" (Winnie) Taylor, Southey, Sask.; sister-in-law, Carol Taylor, Saskatoon, Sask.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Randy, Jim and Jack Taylor.
All are welcome to attend a time in celebration of May's life that will take place from 2-4 p.m., Friday, March 28 , (with remarks by the family at 2:30 p.m.) in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855-825-3448. The family encourages people to dress casually.
