PIERCE, Margaret Elizabeth ~ Age 78, of Auburn, Kings Co., passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020, at home. Born on August 15, 1941, in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late Cyril and Marie (Joudrey) Patterson. Margaret worked hard all of her life assisting in the fields and helping her husband maintain the family farm. She later cared for her husband during his illness. Margaret enjoyed playing bingo and will be remembered as a caring and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She leaves behind her special longtime friend, Vinnie Spencer.  Surviving are her daughters, Heather (Michael) Baxter, Auburn; Carol Pierce, Berwick; Bonnie (Richard Saunders) Pierce, Victoria Harbour; son, Brian (Teresa) Pierce, Aylesford; grandchildren, Brittany, Jenny, Kelsey and Katie; step granddaughter, Krissi; great grandchildren, Jace and Julia; sister, Jeanette (the late David) Canning, Wasga, Ont.; brother, Wayne (Valerie) Patterson, Somerset; half-sister, Darlene Patterson, Shediac, N.B.; half-brother, Floyd (Val) Patterson, Windsor; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Sherman E. Pierce; grandson, Jason Pierce; half-brother, Larry Patterson. There will be no visitation. A private graveside service will take place in Aylesford Union Cemetery with Rev. John Moses officiating. Donations in her memory may be made to your favourite charity.
