PINEO, Margaret Elaine ~ age 75, of Kingston, NS passed suddenly on Sunday, September 2, 2018 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Berwick, NS she was a daughter of the late Leverette and Mildred (Payne) Boyd. Margaret was a member of the Kingston United Baptist Church, having served on many committees and was a 45 year member of the Kingston Fire Department Auxiliary. She loved knitting, puzzles, collecting pig figurines, plates, cups and saucers and salt and pepper shakers. Margaret loved children and helped raise many neighbourhood children and later their children. She loved decorating for all holidays and enjoyed spending time at the cottage in Margaretsville. Margaret devoted her life to her family and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Wendell, Kingston; daughter, Heather (Jeff) Winters, Halifax; son, Mark (Kelly) Pineo, South Farmington; sister, MaryLee (Roger) Eisnor, Torbrook; brothers, David (Louise) Boyd, Ontario; Michael Boyd (Heather Fisher), Truro; numerous foster brothers and sisters and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by foster brothers and sisters. In keeping with Margaret's wishes, a private family graveside service will be held in the Kingston United Cemetery with Rev. Barry Dixon officiating. A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00PM-4:00PM Saturday, September 8, 2018 in the Kingston District Fire Hall, 570 Sparky Street, Kingston. All are welcome.
