Wood, Marguerita Rita ~ age 68 of Marshalltown, Digby County, NS, passed away at home on May 1, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.  Born on June 10, 1955, in Waldec, NS, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Marguerite Wood.  Marguerita was very involved with her community. She helped many local organizations, donating her time to help the less fortunate.  She was known to drop everything to help someone. Marguerita loved Bingo, putting on events at the Fish & Game, and sold Tupperware and Avon. Marguerita is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Matthew) Amero, Ashmore; sons, Eckie Wood, Marshalltown; Lloyd Robicheau, Digby; sisters, Mary Robicheau (Paul), Gilbert's Cove; Marlene Muise, Waldeck; Melinda Cranton (Michael), Waldeck; brother, Kenneth Wood, Meteghan; grandchildren, Patrick, Timothy, Elesha, Breanna, Courtney, Quinton, Landon, Jason, Jaydee and Parker; great grandchildren, Lexie, Hudson; several nieces and nephews who were like her own kids. Also, her fur babies Blackie and Baby girl were like children to her. Marguerita was predeceased by her sisters, Marie Amero and Maxine Wood.  In keeping with Marguerita's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
