COLE, O. Marguerite of Melvern Square, passed away on December 25, 2012 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Clarence on March 6, 1923, she was the daughter of Joseph and Gladys (Viets) Sproul. Marguerite will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Diane (Michael) Douglas, Calgary; Barbara Gladwin, Bridgewater; Andree (Roger) Angevine, Halifax; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Carmen Cole, son David Beals, son-in-law Graeme Gladwin and half-sister Mary (Marshall) Maher. Marguerite enjoyed the friends she made through her seniors' groups, Curves and special neighbours on her street. She loved to cook and bake for everyone, always in search of new recipes to try. She proudly led a healthy, active and independent lifestyle. The family would like to thank those who helped care for Marguerite during her recent illness, especially her family physician of many years, Dr. Jyri Ainamo, Kingston. At Marguerite's request, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. Donations in memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
