Flora Toole
April 13, 1926 – October 20, 2021
TOOLE, Marguerite Ethel Flora ~ It is with great sadness that the family of Marguerite Ethel Flora Toole age 95 announced that she has passed away. She was the daughter of the Banford and Flora Acker both deceased. She was born in Lake Pleasant, Springfield, Nova Scotia in 1926. She loved her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Keith Toole, Kingston, Gary Toole, Kentville and her registered nurse of 40 years – now retired daughter, Darlene O'Hearn in Spryfield, the one who was there when she needed medical questions answered and helped her at the hospitals, sisters, Muriel Sams, Dartmouth, Marlene Simard, Annapolis Royal and stepson Cameron Toole, Ontario. She was predeceased by her husband Murray Toole; stepson, Allan Toole; brothers Leo Acker, Sherman Acker, James Acker, Frelan Acker; her sisters, Elena Dregger, Joan Gillis and especially her loving daughter, Gloria Matthews – she would take her mother to pickup plants, rose bushes, shrubs and berry picking, shopping, she loved her mother very much. They were like two sisters; Gloria had a house built next door so she could visit her loving mother daily. Mother loved her family! She was the best cook, baker, seamstress and made sure her family came first. She loved going out for drives, going Frenchy shopping for clothes for herself and her family, playing Bingo, visiting friends, relatives, and going to church every Sunday. She also enjoyed going to yard sales and meeting new people. She was strict with her children, but fair. May God take good care of her in heaven, where she deserves to go see her late husband, Murray.
