ROCKWELL, Marian Gertrude - Age 92, Greenwood, Kings Co. It is with heavy hearts that her daughter, Marina and the other members of the family announce the peaceful passing away of Marian on Monday, October 14, 2013, in the Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born in South Williamston, she was a daughter of the late Avery A. and Lilla M. (Haynes) Sanford. Marian loved to make crafts, play darts and cribbage. She remained active for most of her life and had been a member of the Kingston Seniors Club and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion, Ortona Branch No. 69, Berwick. Surviving are her daughter, Marina "Renie" (Bob) Johnson, Aylesford; two step grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; brother, Lloyd Sanford, St. Catharines, Ont.; sisters, Edith (Royce) Heffler, Sackville; Lilla White, Kingston; Doreen Healey, Eveleen (Ray) Whynott, both of Auburn; several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Stafford Sanford, Aylesford. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her former husband, Gordon W. Rockwell; brother, Avery Sanford; sisters, Margaret and Eileen Sanford; half-brothers, Aubrey Chute in infancy, Vernon Chute. There will be no visitation. A graveside service for family and close friends will take place at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 19, in the Berwick Cemetery, Main St., Berwick. Rev.
