CONWAY, Marie F.E. - 94 yrs, of Middleton, NS passed away peacefully Thursday, August 29, 2013 in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Halifax, she was the youngest of seven daughters of the late James and Sarah (Burns) Manuel. She was the widow of Russell Conway with whom she travelled extensively during his career in the Canadian Armed Forces. Upon his retirement in 1971 they settled in Middleton where they enjoyed local activities and revisiting many areas in their native province. Marie is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband Russell and sisters, Hilda, Mary, Kathleen, Emma, Edna and Irene. Visitation will be held 4:00PM-6:00PM Friday, August 30, 2013 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448 where the funeral service will be held 4:00PM Saturday, August 31, 2013 with Father Michael McKeage officiating.
