KEDDY, Marie "Dorothy" - age 74, of Lake Ramsay Road, New Ross, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015, in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Lake Ramsay, she was a daughter of the late Clinton and Vera (Keddy) Keddy. Marie lived in Lake Ramsay most of her life, was a kind and caring lady who enjoyed talking on the telephone to check on sick friends and neighbours. She worked at Avon Foods in Port Williams for a short time and had worked at cleaning houses. Marie enjoyed knitting socks, mittens and slippers. She enjoyed a good game of cards, fishing, watching wrestling and hockey. Marie was a member of Christ Anglican Church, New Ross. She is survived by her only son, Nason Keddy, Lake Ramsay; several cousins. Visitation will take place from 12-2 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 11, both in Christ Anglican Church, New Ross, with Rev. Judi Phillips officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Christ Anglican Church Cemetery, New Ross. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the New Ross Volunteer Fire Department or to Christ Anglican Church Cemetery, New Ross.
