Lodge, Marilyn Joyce – Age 80 of Greenwood passed away peacefully with her family at her side, Thursday, September 22, 2016 in Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville, NS. Born July 5, 1936 in Seaforth, On., she was a daughter of the late Roy and Edna (Stewart) Butt. Marilyn worked for many years in the banking industry greeting everyone with her pleasant smile. She was a very kind and loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. She will be deeply missed by her family, which she so dearly loved. Marilyn is survived by her husband, Gilbert Lodge, daughters; Tracy (Dan) Forbes – Drayton Valley, AB, Kara Ziegler (Jeff Bickel) – Morden, Kings Co., son; Jim Ziegler – Harmony, Kings Co., step-children Cindy (Greg) Little – Kingston, NS, Lee Lodge – Kitchener, ON sisters; Brenda Dale – Stratford, ON, Linda (Tony) Charrette – Thedford, ON., grandchildren; Haleigh Forbes, Jeffery Bickel and Eric Bickel; great grandchild; Amaya Lindsay Donavan – Lodge, step grandchildren; Taylor Lee-Ann Lodge, Kyle Little and Tyler Little. Marilyn was predeceased by sister; Karen Geddes, brothers; Stewart Butt, Murray Butt, Keith Butt and step grandchild; Matthew. By request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, October 7 th in the Kingston United Church, with Rev. Linda Winton officiating. A reception will be held following the service in the Church Hall. Interment will be in the North Kingston Cemetery. Donations in her memory can be made to CAPS (Companion Animal Protection Society).
