Obituary

YOUNG, Marilyn Mae age 66 of Meadowvale formerly of Berwick passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at home. Born in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late Frederick Owen and Dorothy Mae (Vidito) Pynch. Marilyn had previously worked at the Aurora Inn, Vicki's Seafood, Palmeter's Nursing Home and as a caregiver at several other nursing homes. She loved bingo and enjoyed her computer, where she would chat with family and friends. Marilyn enjoyed gardening and working in the yard. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Sherman, Aylesford; sons, Wayne Joudrey, Edmonton, AB and Jeff Scotney, Grande Prairie, AB; sisters, Vera Scotney, Bridgetown (formerly of Weston); Carol (Lindsay) Scotney, Weston and Jimetta Pynch, Aylesford; brother, Terry Pynch, Meadowvale ; grandchildren Sarah, Allen, Vanessa, Jason, Dorian and Mercedes; great grandchildren, Chloe, Landen, Paisley and Jaxon and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brother, Gerald; sister, Marion and Larry and Donna both in infancy. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 4:00PM, Saturday, May 28, 2016 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street (902) 825-3448 with Rev. Leon Langille officiating.
