Obituary

CHUTE, Marion Ethel – 92 of Middleton and formerly of Melvern Square passed away Saturday, August 24 th , 2019 in Orchard Villa, Middleton. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, USA, Marion was one of fifteen children of the late Floyd and Premeilla (Thibodeau) Oulton of Moncton, NB. Marion loved to cook and was employed at CFB Greenwood for 20 years as a cook. She enjoyed travelling, attending jam sessions, was an avid strawberry and blueberry picker. Marion will be sadly missed by her family, who she loved dearly. She is survived by two daughters Deborah Chute-Burns and Bernadette "Bunny" (Charles) Ruggles both of Nictaux; grandsons Christopher (Nevada), Calgary, AB and Dennis (Melissa), Saskatoon, SK and a great granddaughter Aria. Marion was predeceased by her husband Lloyd and their son John. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 12, 2019 in Church Grove Cemetery, Melvern Square with Rev. Deann Carter officiating. By request, family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the Canadian Cancer Society.
