RICHARDS, Marion Gladys age 95 of Middleton passed away, Monday, March 7, 2016 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Somerset on November, 26, 1920 she was a daughter of the late William and Esther Hiscoe. Marion was retired from the housekeeping staff of the Halifax Infirmary. She was a member of the Fundy Squares, square dancing club, a member of Branch #1Middleton, Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary and also a member of the Middleton Contemporary Club. Surviving are daughters, Neta Simpson, Middleton, special friend, Diane (Wendell) Ramsay, Cambridge ; grandchildren, Darlene, Stephen; great-grandchildren, Chyloe, Chantelle; great great-grandchild, Remi; nieces Dorothy, Diane, Darlene and Marilyn; nephews Darren, Larry, Paul, Mark, Christopher, Jerry and Michael. Marion was predeceased by her husband, Ernie; brothers, Roland, Wylie, Ainley, sister, Irene and half-siblings, Wallace, Queenie and Eva. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 19, 2016 in the Middleton Funeral Home, Rev. Paul Jennings officiating.
