Obituary

BAKER, Marjorie Joan - 90, of Auburn, NS passed away Monday, December 17, 2012 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Liverpool, England she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Ada Williams. Marjorie loved to play crib, enjoyed going to bingo and was an avid knitter and seamstress. She was also an Associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 98, Kingston. She is survived by her daughters, Adele (Bob) Sullivan, Toronto, ON; Elaine (David) Drew, Auburn, NS; sisters, Eileen Pritchard, Blackpool, England; Dot (Frank) Gloyne, Liverpool, England; brothers, Tom (Dot) Williams, Wales; Brian Williams, Liverpool, England; grandchildren, Linda (Steve) Dizes, Toronto, ON; Cindy (Drew) Helyer, Gaspereau Valley, NS; Scott (Janine) Sullivan and Sean Sullivan, both of Toronto, ON; great grandchildren, Georgia Dizes, Drew Dizes, David Helyer, Maggie Helyer, Andrew Helyer, Jordan Sullivan and Cayden Sullivan. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Walter "Wally" Baker; sister Doreen Gore and brother Raymond Williams. By Marjorie's request, cremation has taken place and there will no visitation or service. Donations in memory may be made to the SPCA Kings County. A special thank you to Dr. Yafai, Dr. Surette, the nursing staff of the 3rd floor and Emergency, cleaning staff and kitchen staff, all of Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton for all their care and compassion.
