PROSSER, Marjorie Edna Mardy 87, of Kingston, NS passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2011 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Moncton, she was a daughter of the late John and Eleanor (Holsen) Bailey. Mardy enjoyed church and attended faithfully at Weston Christian Fellowship Church. She devoted her life to her family and also enjoyed cooking, sewing and crafts. Mardy is survived by her daughters, Beverly Connors, Lower Sackville; Nancy (Daniel) Gates, Simcoe, ON; sons, Robert (Jean), Melvern Square; Ronald (Violet), St. Williams, ON; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Carleton; sister Mabel and brother Walter. Visitation will be held 7-9PM Wednesday, February 9, 2011 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448 where the funeral service will be held 2:00PM Thursday, February 10, 2011 with Rev. Gary Horton and Rev. Bruce Kaiser officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow the service. Interment will be in Church Grove Cemetery, Melvern Square.
