GEORGE, Marjorie Jane – age 68, Burlington, Kings Co., passed away on Monday, October 31, 2016, at home. Born on July 11, 1948, in Kingston, Ontario, she was a daughter of the late Thomas H. and Helen M. (Hayes) Weller. Marjorie was devoted to her family, friends and community. Above all else, she doted on her cherished grandchildren and all children. Marjorie had a great love for her cat, Willy, whom she had for many, many years. She enjoyed watching horse pulls with Peter. Marjorie had worked at IGA, Hennigars Farm Market, several farms in the Blomidon area and most recently at Bargain Harleys, Berwick, where she had worked as a sales clerk for several years. Surviving are her companion, Peter D. Daniels and his mother, Mary Daniels, both of Burlington; daughter, Lisa (Dax Kurtz), Coldbrook; son, Michael (Tanya) George, Waterville; six step-children; several grandchildren and step-grandchildren; sisters, Sylvia and Patricia Ann,; brother, Jack, all of Kingston, Ontario; several nieces and nephews. All are welcome to attend a celebration of Marjorie's life from 1-3 p.m., on Sunday, November 13, in Burlington Community Club, 2122 Long Point Rd., Burlington. Interment will be in the Daniels Cemetery, Burlington. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Burlington Community Club.
