Brown, Marleen Magdeline – Age 75 of Aylesford, Kings Co., passed away peacefully in her sleep, Tuesday, March 26, 2024, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Ste. Rose, MB, she was a daughter of the late Wilfred and Jean (Paradis) Honish.

Marleen worked for Sears for many years and then worked in accounts payable at Calm Air. She was a volunteer for 25+ years with the ladies' auxiliary of the Aylesford and District Volunteer Fire Department. She was a coach at YBC Bowling Club. Marleen was a great, loyal friend who loved her family and was always up for a good time spent with those she loved.

She is survived by her loving husband, Allison Brown; daughters, Tania (Kerry Palaniuk) Morrissey, Candace (Wayne Smith) Smith- Hrushowy & Holly Hrushowy; grandchildren, Danielle, Rhyane & Jason; great grandchildren, Emersen & Ellianna; brother, Curtis (Lynn) Honish; sisters, Rosemary (Rod) Bage & Agnes (Dennis) Trehove; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Marleen was predeceased by her brothers, Kelvin, Blaine & Louis. A memorial service and reception will take place from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Aylesford Fire Hall, 1083 Park St., Aylesford. Pastor Christina Bigelow officiating.
