Obituary

BERRY, Mary Ella ~ age 94, of Nictaux Falls, NS, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Princedale, Annapolis County, she was a daughter of the late Lovell and Gladys (Milner)Feener. Mary enjoyed gardening, doing Jigsaw puzzles and loved going to yard sales with her husband Robert. She was a stay-at-home mom, devoting her life to raising her family. She enjoyed attending the VON Adult Day Program at the NSCC Middleton Campus.  She is survived by her daughters, Linda Veinot (Junior), Torbrook and Rose Ellis (Stephen), Lequille; sister, Martha Nesbitt, Kingston; four grandchildren, Nerissa Smith (Cory); Philip Dukeshire (Jennifer); Kevin Medicraft (Kim); Tony Medicraft (Lisa); 10 great grandchildren; two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by brother Leslie Feener and sisters, Ida Taylor and Jen Aptt. In keeping with Mary's wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, September 28, 2024, in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Middleton. Family would like to thank Jackie Bigelow and Mary's many caregivers for all their care with mom, and the Nurses and Doctors of Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton.
