Chute, Mary Lou – 83 of Middleton. It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Mary Lou Chute (Vaughan), in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton, on Wednesday June 28, 2017. Born in Parrsboro, on March 28th, 1934, she was the youngest child of Morley Vaughan. As her mother passed when she was an infant, she was raised by her father, Morley, her "Grampie" and Gran and then her beloved step-mother, Bridgette. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Chute, in 2007. She is survived by her daughter, Lynne, of Halifax and son Paul (Sabrina) of Palm Harbor, Florida:  grandchildren,  Kristan (Christopher MacInnes), Allyson Hines, Breanna, Bridgette and Maxwell Chute, great granddaughter, Grace MacInnes. Our mother enjoyed her time with her family, her lovely friends, playing bridge for several years and attending Middleton United Baptist Church. Cremation has taken place. There will be a graveside service at a later date in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middleton. The family expresses our sincere thanks to the nursing staff and the volunteers of the Palliative Care Team.
