Obituary

HUBLEY, Mary Elizabeth – age 82 of Bridgetown, formerly of Kingston, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020, in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Granville Ferry, she was a daughter of the late Henry Joseph and Mable Elizabeth (Tabner) Amero. Mary was retired after 18 years working in the Champlain Mess Hall at CFB Cornwallis. She loved to knit, crochet and quilt. She had a deep love for animals, especially cats. She also loved teddy bears, collecting dolls and camping. Mary is survived by brothers, Gerald (Marie) Amero, Parker Mountain Road; and Clyde (Lois) Amero, Calgary, Alta.; and her constant companion "Missy" the cat. Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd; infant son, Clyde William; son, Christopher. In keeping with Mary's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place from 1-3 p.m., Wednesday, January 22, in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855-825-3448. A private graveside service will be held in the Clementsvale Community Cemetery, at a later date.
